About Roundance

The primary aim of the project is to enhance the harmonization of interpersonal and group interactions within any team, spanning from a married couple to large organizations with thousands of members.

This tool proves invaluable, especially when forming responsible working groups.

At the interface level, our objective is to develop a product that assists experienced specialists, such as industrial psychologists or HR professionals, in easily testing probabilistic scenarios and hypotheses for team relationship development.

In this platform version, we utilized a slightly adapted model by Lithuanian researcher Aušra Augustinavičiūtė, known as Socionics. Since the MBTI system shares many similarities with Socionics, specialists accustomed to using MBTI terminology will find it easy to master this platform. Both Socionics and MBTI trace their roots back to the typology of Carl Gustav Jung.

In our perspective, the primary challenge faced by practicing psychologists and sociologists in the industrial use of Socionics and MBTI is the potential for typing errors. Currently, a simple linear questionnaire is commonly used to determine a psychotype, achieving a maximum accuracy of around 70%. While an experienced specialist can handle the task better, mistakes may still occur.

The most reliable typing method is quite labor-intensive, but essentially only needs to be done once in a person's lifetime. This method involves completing 1-2 tests and undergoing in-person typing by 2-3 specialists. Based on the data obtained, it becomes possible to draw the most accurate conclusion about type membership.

Therefore, we currently offer this application primarily for research purposes rather than commercial use.
